From Chicago to Wisconsin and Las Vegas: The Buddha KA Journey

Buddha KA — legal name Curtis Shores — was born in Chicago, Illinois. He lived in Chicago until age 13, moved to Wisconsin at 13, and moved to Las Vegas at 16. In the years since, he has lived between Chicago, Texas, and Las Vegas, and continues to work across those three regions.
The geography matters because the work does not pretend to come from nowhere. Chicago's rhythmic literacy, the interior stillness of the Wisconsin years, and the desert clarity of Las Vegas each pressed into the writing and the sound. The KAfrequency ecosystem, KA Flow, and the sutra cycle all carry those pressures inside them.
Buddha KA moves as an independent artist across the whole path: writing the books, composing and delivering the music, recording the daily activations, and architecting the consciousness systems. There is no separate creative team invented on his behalf.
The journey is not framed as a rise story. It is framed as instruction: the interior discipline that a moving life either builds or exposes.
